Annual December Production In December 2004, Volée Dance presented their first annual production of Oscar Wilde’s The Selfish Giant. The production was a collaboration of renowned bay-area artists in the fields of Modern Dance and Modern Art. The heart-warming story and compelling choreography gives students a wonderful and challenging performing opportunity to build on and look forward to year after year. Annual Spring Performances Volée Dance offers a Master Class Series in the Spring. This gives students the opportunity to study intensively with extraordinary teachers in many different dance forms. The 2005 Master Classes include Flamenco with Koko de la Isla, Modern Dance and Choreography with Elizebeth Randall, and Jazz with Travis Roland. We also offer Ballet Master Classes throughout the year with luminaries such as Emmy and Tony award winning choreographer Michael Smuin, Summer Lee Rhatigan of San Francisco Conservatory of Dance, and former San Francisco Ballet ballerina Evelyn Cisneros.
